How do I get a remote computer to connect to my cameras?
I want a friend with a PC to view my cameras. I am totally confused by all the applications. What should she download and install on her PC to be able to view my cameras?

Assuming you have both cameras setup on your network & you tested they are working.
Check this video first for UPNP setup first.

If port forwarding is required like in my case it was, check out this video.

Certain ports must be opened (forwarded) in order for you to see your cameras on remote computers &/or IP Cam viewing apps.
Took me about 30 mins to figure it out, BUT I have a static IP so setup may be a little different for you.
