I own the Amcrest Eco-Series 1080P HD Over Analog (HDCVI) 8CH Video Security System w/ Eight 2.0 MP Weatherproof IP67 Bullet Cameras, 66ft IR LED Night Vision, Long Distance Transmit Range, Pre-Installed 2TB HD
The specifications state - Long Distance Transmit Range (up to 984ft) of HD 1080p Live Video However I cant seem to get a signal over 260ft, using (2) 100 ft cables and (1) 60ft cable that came with the system.
I lose signal when I get over 260ft and just get a blank black screen, so how do I reach the advertised 984ft distance?
Also, the wires that came in the box are a thicker quality than the ones that I bought additionally to the system, where can I find more of the thicker BNC cables that came with the system? (the ones with the little white sticker that tells you camera side or dvr side)
I have sent an email to [email protected] and tried hatting to the sales support with no help.
Thanks.

Hello AMcDonald123,
Getting power to all the cameras at that distance would be a problem. So if you can place the power adapter for the cameras closer to them, it would be better. Also if running power cables that long, try using a separate adapter for two cameras as it can supply enough voltage to the camera at that distance. Also based on feedback from our customers, RG 59 cables are better for long cable runs. The ones that come with the system are RG 6 cables.
