Getting non Amcrest (Zmodo) camera to work with NV1104

Post by bushop1958 »

Hello,

I have purchased a NV1104 NVR and IP2M-842W camera which work great together.

I also have a couple of Zmodo ZP-IBH13-W cameras that I want to record to the NVR.

I have tried many different settings to no avail.

Amcrest IP Config doesn't see them.

I can access all the cameras with Blue Iris but I want to be able to send all cameras to the NVR.

Has anyone had any luck getting Zmodo cameras to work with this NVR?

Thanks in advance.

Did you ever get a solution? I know it's an old thread but I am trying to get 8 zmodo poe cameras to work with an amcrest NV4108-A2. If anyone knows if this is possible, please let me know. Thanks!

You will need to make sure that your POE cameras are ONVIF enabled. If they are then you need to find out if the ONVIF requires a ONVIF user to access it as some cameras will need to have a ONVIF user to access that feature. Some systems comes with ONVIF setup with admin accounts all depends on the type and options offered.. Even if you were able to get the cameras to work there is no 100% that it would work with Motion seeing this isn't always able from all cameras. Some companies require only their hardware for these options to work..
Be Safe.
