FTP user read only right.

I have just installed a new Amcrest camera and I'm trying to setup the FTP connection. I put in the correct IP, username, and password, and when I click test it shows an error: FTP server test failure, user read only right.

However, it seems like the connection is okay because it creates a folder called FTP_TEST on the server. The server log shows:

I'm running vsftpd on Ubuntu 20.04. I have opened full access through the firewall.
