Forgot username

OK. This is dumb. Just got my first camera set up. Works great thru the iPhone I have signed in with. I cannot get another iPhone or iPad linked in though. It keeps telling me that I have the wrong username or wrong password. I know the password IS correct. Can't believe that I cannot remember my username or that it isn't one of the common ones I use. But apparently not. How can I see my username on the one iPhone app that does work?? Thanks ahead of time !!

Assuming you are using the Amcrest view app, you can go to the app and click on the three bars and three dots on the top left and go to 'Device manager' , click on your camera name and then click on the 'pencil icon'. This gives you all the info of your working camera including username. The password would be hidden but you can count the dots to get an idea of how long it is.

The different log-ins can be confusing. There's one where I tend to put in my user name (one I chose) and that's rejected. Then I try the user name "admin" and that works to get me in. Unless I'm remembering them backwards, that's the one I enter from ip config. AmcrestView.com uses the actual user name I chose.

Anyway, Melvin's answer should work but just in case it doesn't for the app you're using, maybe user name admin will get you in.
