Yes you can have 2 different cameras running on different FW. If you happen to buy a camera that has a NEWER FW then the one that is posted on Amcrest Website it is generally been thought of as NON-Stable. Amcrest cameras and or DVR/NVRs will come with a Built FW that is older then the current one offered unless that device is so new there is none online for DL yet. In the case of a 841v3 it is an older camera from 2019 or early 2020 and the FW that comes new should be the 2019 or 2020 FW. If it is something you bought new from Amazon, I would exchange it for one that hasn't already been used.
