Do I need to waterproof power connector

I just purchased an IP3M-943W camera and it is installed outdoors. Is the connector where the power adapter plugs into the camera outdoor rated, or do I need to some how seal the connection? Thanks

Is it a simple plug in? If so, moisture will eventually make its way in, especially if it's in a position where it will be exposed to rain. I seal all outdoor electrical camera connections with silicon sealant just to be safe.
