Device not listed...

Post by elevated420 »

Hey there,

I am using the instructions provided here, and cannot get past step 1:
https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/ar ... llance-Pro

I click on "devices," nothing is listed.

I click on "search," and the "auto search" window pops up.

I click on the "search" button on the "auto search" window, wait, nothing is listed.

I click on the "refresh" button on the "auto search" windows, wait, nothing happens.

This may not be relevant, but within iSpy, after doing a search, it shows my camera is listed at 192.168.0.13:8080. However, I cannot get iSpy to work with this camera, so that is why I am trying to use your Amcrest Surveillance Pro software.

I need some help please. I just blew three hours trying to get your competitors Canary camera to work on Windows 7. If I can't get this Amcrest camera to work, it too will be going back to NewEgg.com.

I'm lost, someone please get back to me. I will be back tomorrow. Thank you.

Can someone at least point me to a thread that has had this problem solved already?

Thank you.

This video helped a lot.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA_UPFf ... e=youtu.be

As for this link:
https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/ar ... llance-Pro

Amcrest Surveillance Pro can now see my camera, the "state" says it's "online."

The next step is the "PC-NVR" setup. To the left, where it says "Remote Device," that is greyed out. I can't click on it.

Any suggestions? Thx in advance.
