Channel X failed to get configuration

I have a brand new NVR (NV4108E) with 4 POE bullet cams and 2 wireless bullet cams. I keep getting the message "Channel # failed to get configuration" when trying to edit motion detection settings. I've confirmed the user accounts are correct and I get the error consistently on the wireless cameras and most of the time on the wired cameras. What is going on?
