Changing Wifi network on ASH22-W Camera

Hello all

I'm giving my ASH22-W camera to a relative who lives far away and has not technical skills

I have been able to setup the camera at home on my wireless network

What is the easiest way for my relative to setup the camera when he receives it at his home ? - he will have a different Wifi network, so powering it up will not work.

Is there a simpler solution besides reseting the camera and starting from scratch at his home?

No best to reset it and setup from scratch.

Problem is your camera is smarthome device so no webui, no easy access to changing ip and all the easy things that a normal IP camera has that could be changed and passed along. The ash no real option.

Well to be honest Amcrest has one with the ASH21 that gets it all in a Min 20 seconds. Maybe just play and pause as they go but something to look at maybe save some time on a Video. The ash line to install is really easy. I know you said they have no Technical Skills but perfect for someone to setup a ash product.

HE actually has another ASH22-W exactly the same which is working at his home - I had it setup sometime ago and for some reason, this one stopped working, so he sent it back to me

Since he already has the app on his phone with one of these cameras working, the process of setting it up is the same, correct? He will still need to press the + sign to add an additional camera, just the way he would with this was the first camera, correct?

Yes, Click the + to add in the new camera and any new camera there after.. Scan the code, enter name and password, enter name and password for SSID of the network if going to setup wireless if it is I don't know the 22 so can't say.
