cant view both cameras on amcrestview on pc

I have 2 amcrest pro/hd pan tilt wifi 1080p cameras
i just hooked up my second camera today. went through the steps appropriately (i think i did anyway), and although i can view both cameras on my phone which is a droid and my wifes phone which is an iphone, when i log on to amcrestview.com on my pc, i can only see one camera at a time. i have to log in again in another window to see the other cam. both cameras are setup properly in my Amcrest IP Config. it is annoying because i want to run both cameras on my monitor simultaneously. by the amount of window selections on the amcrest view screen. i should be able to do this.
Help please.

I noticed that, too. You can open a second browser window (rt-click on browser icon and launch away) then rt-click on your toolbbar (bottom bar on windows screen) and select "show windows side by side".

yeah but thats not how its supposed to work. there are multiple windows in the amcrestview app and when you log in, there is a check box to select both cameras. im hoping to get an answer here from someone who has been through this but if not i will have to call the tech support line i suppose.

I've wondered this too. I couldn't figure out any way to view two cameras but would like to know how.

Yea, I have a make a Safari and I can find a way to activate my other cameras into the other provided windows on Amcrest View. This is a bummer but I guess these cam be considered budget cameras, looks like they haven't put a lot of money into the software development or it's still in early stages. I have a Nest drop cam and it work AMAZINGLY but its also 200 bucks and does not move....

I am having the same exact problem. I can view multiple cameras from my Android or iPad, but NOT from the Amcrestview app. I DO see both and I can click on the eye and view one OR the other. But not both at the same time. Anyone?

OK. Here is the answer folks:
Download and install AMCREST SURVEILLANCE PRO (when installing - you do not have to select the NVR).
This is the ONLY way to view more than 1 camera at the same time on a PC or MAC

Look at the bottom of MAC/OS or PC/Windows - you will see it.
Download it and install it.
Problem solved.
What is amazing is that it took 4 questions by Email to get this answered. I kept getting "download and install the IP CONFIG TOOL". For the record, that does NOT allow you to view multiple cameras (all it does is show you where the Cameras are on your LAN/IP address and subnet, etc... and allows you to LAUNCH your default browser with 1 IP - the one you select - thus 1 Camera.
Again - download and install Amcrest Surveillance Pro.

I have the same situation, and I'm wondering why this isn't working on a PC. Seems like it should since there are options for viewing multiple windows at once. I don't really want to have to download yet another app (Surveillance Pro) when it seems like the one I'm currently using (amcrestview.com) should work. Is it really impossible?

Yes. Surveillance Pro is the actual way to view all of your cameras in a camera wall. There are options for several cameras or just one. None of the apps are very user-friendly but if you have a slight knack for it, you can figure out how to set this up. It took me a while and you can even configure or re-configure you cameras in Surveillance Pro. Once I started using it, I must have adjusted certain settings because everything stays intact now. Initially, my settings would go away daily. Since configuring in Surveillance Pro, they seem to stay (resolution, frame rate, overlay, etc.).

Thanks for confirming. I glanced through the manual yesterday after finding the original post and that's why I was hoping there was another way.

There's no way I can tackle a new configuration with my current time constraints, but some time in the future I hope I can. It would be nice to see both camera video at once without having to switch between two windows. I know I can have two windows side-by-side too, but I didn't like the narrow view that way when I tried.
