Welcome to the forum

So yeah Annke forces the Name in the camera of all cameras installed on the system even after turning it off the recorder it still pops them in there and makes for trouble. So I am not sure what camera you are working with or if your working on a POE Amcrest NVR or what. So I will just give info about accessing the area within Amcrest Camera..

Going to the cameras IP in the IE or what ever method you use for WebUI access. Log into the camera. Then click on Setup, This will bring you to an area of the cameras setup, on the left click Video. at the top of that area it will have Overlay, Click that and then if your camera don't have the Extra Text area you will want to Enable the Amcrest Logo. Doing so will remove the Extra Text. However depending on the camera if you disable the logo again it will turn back on the Annke name again..

So this bring me to the best way to fix this. Using a Amcrest DVR/NVR, going to the same area as said above for the camera channel in question there will be another area that says Extra Text and that is where you will find the cameras Plague of the Annke Name. Removing that from there, Adding in Text of your own will cure that and just remember if you put it back on Annke machine it will turn it back on and show Annke again..

However I just tested it on one of my Cameras. Turn it on one of my Recorder from Annke, The name came up. Then went to WebUI of camera and turned on the Amcrest Logo, Then the name went away. Then Disabled the Logo and the name stayed gone.. I then logged into my NVR (Amcrest one) and went to camera, Encode, Overlay and while the name didn't come back up after disabling the logo. When Looking in the NVR under Custom Title under Overlay the name is still in there it just isn't enabled. So if you have Amcrest NVR then the best thing to do is just use the NVR to remove the Custom Text area. Some Amcrest devices call it Extra Text..
Be Safe.

Using the WebUI to the camera directly and enabling the Amcrest logo overlay removed the Annke watermark then disabling the Amcrest logo overlay removed the Annke watermark, thank you.

I may purchase an Amcrest DVR in the future, but for now it's a cheap POE switch and Amcrest Surveillance Pro and SD cards.
