Can connect through home network only

As stated ,above, I can connect to my wifi cameras fine through my home network on my phone or computer. The problem is when I am away from home and try and connect on my phone it always just says "failed to connect". I have 5 IP2M-841s AND 1 IP3M-943W. I have confirmed that my IP addresses are correct, that my default gateway is addressed properly, that my preferred dns is addressed properly & Amcrest DNS is checked "enable". If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it, as I am about ready to throw them in the trash.

What connection method is using to do this connection?

It looks like the IP domain setup is being attempted. Please ensure the following:

For IP domain to work remotely away from for the network segment, the public IP or DDNS URL address must be used and not the local IP address.


The easiest way to gather IP Address is by a website like https://www.ipchicken.com/

also, the ports would need to be forwarded.
