NVR = NV4108=HS
IP cameras = 4 Amcrest 943
= 1 Lorex
= 1 Dahua
Problem 1] 3 of my Amcrest IP cameras are not showing on my NVR monitor. [1 wired, 2 wireless]
When I sign into main menu > cameras all the cams have green status.
The Amcrest config tool shows all cams.
When I reboot the NVR, these 3 cams momentarily flash on, in the monitor and then they go black.
There is no error msg on the monitor, just a black screen.
The configuation on the monitor is 8 cams [one large picture and 7 small]. When I change the large pic to a different cam the missing 3 come back
Problem 2] The Dahua cam will show on the monitor, but often stops and only shows a black screen.
Is this an NVR issue?
What can I do to check what is wrong and fix these issues?
Thank You.

Re: cams not showing on NVR monitor
I would double check that the cameras are set in the right format for your Sub Channel. Issue is if the Encoding is wrong it won't display, Also one of my newer cameras with 2021 FW on it wouldn't display on my 2108E-HS until I updated the Firmware on the NVR. Not saying that is your issue I mean the NVR is 8mp and camera was 8mp it just didn't want to play nice. I mean I could lower the encoding down to 6mp and it worked fine. Once I updated the FW on the NVR now the camera works as expected in 8mp..
Another thing you can try and I have had this issue on my 4116E-HS, That is setting the Encoding format for all cameras to not Force H.265 if you have that setup I would click that off and try the cameras in h.264h. Also a good Connection to the NVR and camera is good as well. Check all cables for kinks or breaks.
There is a whole host of things that it could be and without seeing the issue first hand it would be hard to know what it is doing and why. Maybe a short video if you have the means to make one might be helpful..

Re: cams not showing on NVR monitor
Thanks @Revo2Maxx Maxx
I am checking on my NVR firmware to see if I need and update.
I have emailed Amcrest because I don't seem to be able to navigate their support too easily to find any downloads.
Everything else seems OK. All my cams are set to h.264h.

Re: cams not showing on NVR monitor
Something also to check..
Right click the GUI, Choose main menu, then Display I would double check that Screen Enable and checked if not maybe on the older FW it was just blank on mine there is a message that says Decode not enabled even being logged in...
In your sub menu I would just make sure that it is enabled, and that they are setup for VGA. I mean D1 should be ok but VGA is what most of mine are setup for and that is 640x480. If not enabled then you will get black screen in Grid View. D1 is 704x480 and at times I have had NVR's that was problematic in that mode.
