Camera works normally but will only tilt a few degrees

Hi,

I removed the power from my IP2M-841 camera to reroute the power wire but when I went to plug it back in I noticed that it ended up tilted all the way down. I logged in and can tilt it from the web interface a few degrees up and down but not all the way anymore. Anything I can try before I do a hard reset to try and resolve it?

Hello fuz ,
This looks like a hardware issue. However please try a hard reset and see how it goes. Other than that you could also try helping the tilt a little bit with your hands gently. If that does not work, I would suggest a replacement.
