Hello; I have an IP PTZ camera. I dont have it in front of me, but nothing but issues, currently working with Amcrest.
The issue I have now is, when the camera motion is activated and it notifys my android, I log in and the camera is turned 45 degrees so I cannot see anything. I would think this is an easy fix...I am hopeful.
Pretty sure the camera is 4MP-1051
Camera rotates when motion activates
Re: Camera rotates when motion activates
Hello and welcome to the Forum. Sadly not much to offer if you don't have the camera. Sounds like you had it setup to run a tour on motion I am not sure only what I could think of.

Re: Camera rotates when motion activates
Well, that wasnt it. There was no setting for the event .
Re: Camera rotates when motion activates
Very strange. OK so have you seen this done? or you just going off the idea that it is moved out of the way that it was when last seen? I know you don't want to hear this but unless it is out of the reach of others or someone able to watch feed always no way to know that someone isn't tampering with it. So I am not sure but seems odd that it would be moving without any interaction from the end user.
Was this camera bought NEW? Or is it from a Ebay person or some other type that it was used before you got it. It might be that the Old owner still has ability to change things. Change Password to a new one and make it something that isn't easy
