Camera recommendations? Clueless person here.

I'm a total nitwit when it comes to DIY security cameras and have never attempted such a feat before. I need an outdoor camera easy to set up. My requirements are:

1) weatherproof in a hot, harsh (salt) coastal environment;
2) live stream from an android phone - I do NOT need recording on a hard drive or sound;
3) preferred wireless but not absolutely necessary (will be <50' from my router);
4) easy install (like plug and play);
5) automatically revives itself after frequent internet and/or power loss; and
6) no monthly subscriptions.

I've installed a Canary with success, but need something heavy-duty for the outdoor situation. Thank you so very much for any and all recommendations.

I would recommend you go with Amcrest HDSeries Outdoor 720P or 1080P WiFi Wireless IP Security Bullet Camera. The 1080 P gives a better video quality but the 720P itself is good enough for surveillance purposes. Both these models qualifies the requirements you have mentioned and they are wifi cameras.
