I am unable to access my Amcrest IP3M-943W in Amcrest Surveillance Pro on my PC. It says Offline (can not find network host). I have deleted it and added it again. Still the same.
IP Config finds this camera and reports its IP address but I am unable to ping it on my PC.
I can connect to and view the camera just fine using either IP or P2P in Amcrest View Pro on my Android phone and on my iPad.
I have other Amcrest cameras on the same network that I can ping on my PC and connect to just fine in Amcrest Surveillance Pro.
I have power cycled the camera and it is still the same.
What am I missing?

Re: Camera offline in Amcrest Surveillance Pro
Hello and Welcome to the Forum
From what I am reading it sounds like your camera is Blacklisted in your current setup of your computer... However that should be something that it would tell you when you try to access it...
Did you at one point setup IP Filtering for your Camera? Maybe when you first setup your camera and going though things you seen something read about it or someone setup the system for you and thought lets make this safer for you?
Ip Filtering is in the Camera, WebUI, Setup, Network, Ip Filtering. You would put in your Computer IP address, NVR Ip address and other computers or hardware youwant to give access to only.. Then when you save only them items will have access to it.. You can see it but trying to access it would fail...
If this is the case you will need to know what IP your computer was when your Added it tto the trust list or you can find this by looking in any Log backups you might have made.. Bring up the Log backup, look over the data for when the admin logged in it will give a IP address for your computer at that time.. Then you can go into your computer and change your IP set to Static and give your computer the Static Ip address that your camera is looking for and after you go back you should be able to access your camera over your computer...
Reason I say it sounds like this is the issue is because you said you can access your camera from outside your network over P2P so the Camera has to have access to the network to get out of the network...

Re: Camera offline in Amcrest Surveillance Pro
Update:
Was looking through the settings and noticed that the wired IP address was set to static and just happened to be the same as the IP assigned to the PC with the problem.
That was it.
Figured it was something stupid simple.

Re: Camera offline in Amcrest Surveillance Pro
Glad you got things worked out for you.. While I have mine off, Maybe you will want to turn on your IP Conflict in the events... Static is good, However if your network works under the 192.168.1.XXX area then yeah I would make your computer anything other then 108 as that is what I have found most of my cameras have come pre setup as My network IP is in 10 range so that isn't an issue for me...

Re: Camera offline in Amcrest Surveillance Pro
Some time back I configured my wired and wireless IPs in my camera the same and thought that the wireless was bad. If you have them the same IP, wired always wins!
Re: Camera offline in Amcrest Surveillance Pro
Same problem here but with all my cameras. I had a working system and upgraded to Surveillance Pro 2.0 and now cameras all show off line. The IP Config software finds the cameras but when adding them it just doesn't ever go online.

@mlee Hello and welcome to the forum
Once the cameras are added make sure to update the password to the cameras so they will go from orange/red to green.
Also depends on if your using SN to add them or the IP..

Re: Camera offline in Amcrest Surveillance Pro
@Revo2Maxx Thanks!! I was using IP but password was different for one of my cameras and that was the one I kept trying to add first. Found it in my cell phone setup.
Also discovered the Amcrest Web view app which is nice for setup and playback.
Thanks again

Yeah I just found out also that for some reason the V2 of the ASP isn't working with P2P so might want to keep that in mind if trying to setup using P2P on V2.. I normally don't do all my cameras on P2P only a few that I needed setup that way and now see the new V2 of ASP isn't working.. IP works for me just not P2P maybe something they will release in a new update..
