Hello,
Go to the settings on the IP config tool and where it says start IP, replace the Ip address with the ip address of your router and save it. This should fix the issue in most cases.
Camera not showing up in IP Config
Re: Camera not showing up in IP Config
Guys - just wanted to chime in and say thanks as I resolved the issue. I finally got the IP config to recognize my three cameras and all is good. Now I'm stuck because for some reason I can't remember my passwords for the cameras which means I need to do a hard reset on them. Does anyone know if the IP2M-843E has a hard reset button or do I have to take the camera lens apart and short circuit to reset?
Thanks
Thanks

This worked for me. Thanks!!chinpaijong wrote:I had the same problem but solved it. First click on "Settings" in the upper right corner. In the "Settings" window that opens up, change the "Start IP" based the subnet setting in your router. Then go back to refresh.

I would say it is the Windows 7 Firewall.

Connect your camera to the router using a network cable. The camera will then appear in the Config list.
Re: Camera not showing up in IP Config
I just spent all day trying to get two IP2M-841 cameras setup. After the WiFi and Ethernet Cable setups failed to work on the Android app, I tried the IP Config tool after searching these forums ... and I too had no cameras showing up. Odd thing was that my wired Amcrest NVR wasn't showing up either (I've had that up and running for 3 years).
After several hours of frustration, I decided to reboot my router and refresh my firewall program. Afterward, I was able to see the cameras using an ethernet cable, and once I could get into the web interface (please fix so that this works with Firefox ... I despise both IE and Chrome!) I set both cameras to be wireless by default. Reboots can be a pain in the butt, but sometimes files get too large and the garbage needs to be cleared out.

When we talk about IP addresses then we can say that it is a source of recognizing and finding network hosts and checking them forms an essential part when it comes to the job of a system/network administrator. All device or app that attaches to a network must be allotted an IP address. By keeping track it assists you to know who is associated with your network, when they linked, their location, how long they have been joined.
