Hello,
I'm rather annoyed here with Amcrest and trying to get an ASH22-W camera:
https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/ca ... 0005346831
Working with an Amcrest DVR model number NV4116-A2
https://amcrest.com/4k-16ch-ip-nvr-nv4116-a2.html
I originally had other cameras and got them working but couldn't get motion detection features in the DVR working probably due to Amcrest intentionally not supporting other cameras/whitelisting their own etc...
When I set up the ASH22-W over wireless it claims to have a 19(3).100.1.X IP on my network which is not the IP range on my router (it's 19(2).168.100.X). There doesn't seem to be any easy way to change that IP in the settings on the phone application. It's just stuck.
I download the network configuration tool and similarly, it only detects when I hard wire it into my network and there's no ability to bind the wireless MAC to an IP that my router can see.
I am not wiring this wireless camera wired just because Amcrest designed something foolishly. It will all go back (DVR and cameras) if I can't get this working WIRELESS and by an IP my router can bind to directly. I'm not even sure how this is working with an IP that my router cannot see.
Any help is appreciated.

This guy is having the same issue:

Re: ASH22-W Changing Wireless Network Settings (IP)
Sorry the IP address is 193.168.100.X... some reason i cannot alter the original post.
Re: ASH22-W Changing Wireless Network Settings (IP)
So the IP address that your asking about isn't the one your working with.
When it comes to the wifi of a camera and someone sees an IP that don't match that is because they are looking at the Wired IP. The wifi IP you would have to find from your Router.
So how to make your Camera come with the same IP? Well with in the Router there can be a way. Seeing I don't know all routers and I know that not all routers offer the feature. However some routers do, Seeing you know the IP for your camera right now you should be able to look at the router table and find the IP for the camera as it stands. You were saying 192.168.100.xxx xxx being the last digit for your IP (By the way it is a Pvt IP no one from outside your network can access it without being part of your network so no reason to head it. Just saying..
So lets say that xxx is 45. So looking at your NVR's router table you find the IP and next to that IP is a Mac Address. 9c-8e-Cd and so on. I don't remember any of mine but normally the first 6 are them above could be in all caps.. Anyway on my router I have a function under Advanced where I can add Static IP so like on my AD410, I wanted it 235 so I have it setup as such. My ASH26 the Flood light camera I have setup 10.0.0.233. So I have not changed all my devices in my router. I do have some that I want to end up with the IP that I want them to have so I setup my router. In that list one of them is my NVR4116E-HS that is because I reset it all the time and I want it to have the same IP all the time. So the Router now when it sees any of the Mac Addresses it will give that IP even before I have the time to setup a Static within the Device..
So to give a better understanding in my Current setup. I do have iP ranges within different 192.168.x.xxx however the IP you see in my ASH21 picture below isn't in my current range of my network this is how the camera comes when it is setup using the Wifi settings. The Wired settings never changed from Default settings. Looking at this picture and then looking at the IP for the ASH 21 in my ROuter table the Mac address is different. In Very Rare issues are the camera setup with the same Mac for both Wifi and wired. My guess is that yours might be different like mine is however if not then that would be or could be an issue for making the change. But again I don't think it is..
How to fix. in your Router tables find the IP that your ASH22 is on. There is a Mac address that it is tied to, Take that Mac address in your router where you can setup Static Routes. Might Be under Setup, Lan Setup even. Lan is what your working with and if there is an area there that you can make Static routes then setup the MAC for ASh22 to have what ever IP you want. If you don't want the one it has now or just enter the one it has now to make it easy. Once you save and the camera and router are rebooted it will come back up with the same IP as long as it has the same Mac address..
One last thing that you might want to keep in mind as well. if your system is setup to Share Mac addresses that is not really a good thing and it would be harder to keep your camera on same IP. I have that option turned off and I have more control of what I can do. If your working with a Mesh or some crazy advanced router that gives out 0.0.0.0 Mac Addresses then might want to look in your router manual on how to setup devices in your local network to have Static IP from the devices Mac Address...
