ASH22-W cannot get RTSP working

Amcrest has this lovely article, specifically for this model: https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/ar ... P-ASH22-W-

However, it just doesn't work. When I try to use FFMPEG or VLC, the authentication happens, and then the camera returns '404 not found'.

Has anybody made this work? Or should I use my Amazon return abilities?

I figured this out. The AMCREST article specific to this camera is WRONG.

This RTSP URL works fine: rtsp://[username]:password@IPaddress:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0
