Amcrest View iOS app not connecting on iOS 10 Beta

This is more for informational purposes than looking for a resolution.

I am an iOS developer. As such, I can get early downloads of iOS Betas. Actually anyone can get them now as part of the Apple Beta Program. As of iOS 10 Developer Beta 4, the Amcrest View Pro app will not connect to my NVR/cameras. It still works on my wife's iPhone running iOS 9.3. The problem as not been fixed in the most recent iOS 10 Developer Beta 5.

The current public beta, iOS 10 Beta 4, is apparently the same code as the Developer Beta 5. So others may start seeing this problem.

This could very well be a problem with something in iOS or perhaps a change to iOS caused the app to stop working. Just thought I would give you a heads-up since it will only be a few more weeks until the official release.

Just updated my phone to iOS 10.0.1 and since it was updated it cannot connect to the cameras. Tried both Amcrest View apps and it will not work. Any idea of when this will be solved?

I created an account to make my displeasure known. My phone is set to auto update and now I can no longer use my expensive cameras as intended.

My google search for 'Amcrest iOS 10' brought me here and now I find out that I'm out of luck.

Please fix your app.

I just downloaded IOS 10 on my iPad and can confirm that the Amcrest App for the iPad no longer works. Many of the other apps I use have been updated to work with IOS 10. Amcrest needs to update theirs too.

The update just came out and my cameras are now visible again through the app. Thanks guys!
