I have the same camera and was having the same problem. In my case, the camera was "forgetting" the recording schedule so nothing was being recorded when motion was detected. I upgraded to the latest firmware a few weeks ago and things seem stable. The camera would sometimes also forget the date. When this happened, no recording would occur. I suspect it was buggy firmware. As a note, it's my experience that Amcrest does not have adequate QA practices and releases buggy firmware. That said, if you upgrade new problems may appear.

KHPURA, Are you using the Amcrest cloud service? Before I deleted my cloud account, I was having a problem with many configuration settings being wiped out, including recording schedules and detection areas. Amcrest tech support said it was a known issue and told me to stop using their cloud service until it was fixed. I deleted my cloud account and things got much better. Not perfect, but better. I never started using their cloud service again so I don't know if they ever fixed the issue.
