AMCrest NVR 4108 and Foscam 19816p

Post by cybrmartian »

I have a strange problem with the Cameras I have and this NVR. I will lay out what I have and done so you know what I have tried already and maybe I am overlooking something. I have Five F19816P cameras that I successfully had connected to a Hybrid DVR I had but it was only a 4Ch and about 4 years old so I decided to upgrade to be able to record all 8 cameras I have. I bought the Amcrest 4108 hoping since it touted it worked with most Foscam cameras and they seem to be possibly ran by the same companies since I get all the advertising for Amcrest through Foscam spam mail. To sum it up this is what I have

1 - Amcrest 4108
2 - Foscam F19804W that work Great on this NVR (These connect as Foscam on Port 88)
1 - HoSafe 2MD4 Which also works spectacular (Connects via ONVIF though Port 80 )
5- Foscam F19816P that I can get to connect and record via ONVIF on ONVIF port 888

here is the issue that I am having. I have the NVR connected though HDMI to my 2 Month old HD TV in my bedroom and when I bring up one of the 5 Cameras I am having a problem with I can view and control via PTZ just fine in Single camera or the Quad Camera setup. The problem is if I switch to the 8 Camera View and one of the 5 cameras are in the surrounding blocks there is no Video, Now if i drag one of the F19816P cameras to the larger display I have video and the 3 cameras I have no problem with drop into the smaller without a problem and I can see the larger F19816P and the other 3 cameras and this is a problem on the mobile app as well for the Amcrest App. Can't connect to those 5 cameras at all. They are recording and I can play all 8 cameras back but I know this has to be possible to view them all on 1 screen. Now if I connect through the Web Console on a PC i can view all 8 Cameras as they are supposed to. I have tried changing the settings on these 5 cameras (F19816P) to connect via the Foscam setting on the NVR like the other Foscam cameras I have using the HTTP port 88. I tried changing the type to ONVIF and Http port 88 and No luck. Change the port to 888 which is the onvif port and it works the way stated above. i have left the RTSP port to 554. I have checked to setting on my TV to make sure it was set to 1080, I tried changing the NVR to a lower resolution and same thing.

What am I missing? Any Ideas?
