yes just tell them that before you found the Forum you wanted to make a change that you thought would better the picture and that you had not clue that it would cause damage to the camera it wasn't until after the camera was broke that you found the Forum and found out others tried doing the same thing since having the Camera replaced now know better then to try and make adjustment outside of the Smart Home App...
I would contact them at email ([email protected]) or phone (888-212-7538) Might have better luck over Email at times. Depending on the time of day in your area.. Within Business hours call might be able to get something setup without much issue.. I have not personally bricked mine have seen others have have so I have been careful not do make changes and only use my NVR as a recorder not to make changes to the camera...

@Ekke, yeah the amcrest ip config tool can be fatal to the ad110 doorbell hence stick with the smart home app for now. you can raise a ticket via, https://amcrest.com/smarthomesupport and you would need a rma when the factory reset button no longer works.
Re: Amcrest Doorbell
I added it as a device in Amcrest Surveillance Pro on my PC, then you can access settings from the Device Config screen.
KingKong wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 8:18 pm @kabon360 How did you change the IP settings? I'm struggling to find a WebUI for the doorbell. I need to change the TCP Port so I can access the doorbell on my Amcrest View Pro app from outside the network by way of port forwarding. I have another Amcrest Home App camera (Deterrent Camera) that has defaulted to the same TCP Port and I've reluctantly kept for port forwarding. I can't access any WebUI for that camera either to change the port.
Re: Amcrest Doorbell
@kabon360 Others have Bricked there camera Doorbell making changes out side of the Smart Home app... I wouldn't make changes unless you want to have down time if it bricks waiting for replacement....

Re: Amcrest Doorbell
the ad110 doorbell does not have a web ui. please consider using only the smart home app with the doorbell configuration because of the high risk the factory reset button may not work if one bricks the doorbell.
how i have approached this was to reassign one of my amcrest ip cameras with a different tcp port to make way for the doorbell to use the default 37777 tcp port. it's much safer for me to configure one of the amcrest ip camera with the familiar web ui than risking bricking another doorbell.

Your router should allow port forwarding. For two devices that have the same internal port number.
E.g.
10.0.0.5:37777 -> external 12.34.56.78:37778
10.0.0.6:37777 -> external 12.34.56.78:37779
But realistically the best thing for you to do is to create a VPN server on your router if it allows, And then you will connect through that tunnel instead of opening up Dangerous Ports on your network where people can hack your cameras from the outside.
VPN security is much better than your random Port coming from a random iot device.
I personally VPN into my network and then remote desktop to my NVR server.
Re: Amcrest Doorbell
I recently purchased one of these cameras after having several other Amcrest cameras that I'm very happy with. I'm having some issues with this one though. The camera is connected to my NVR over RTSP. It stays connected all day with no issues. At night, it loses network connectivity every few minutes. When the NVR loses the connection, I can no longer ping the camera, or connect through the Amcrest app on my phone. After a few minutes of being offline, I can hear the camera say 'Successfully connected to network', then my NVR pics it up again.
My front porch light is on a timer. As long as the porch light is on, the camera seems to stay connected. As soon as the light goes out, and the porch gets dark enough (when the IR led is triggered?) is when the issues start happening. I've seen other people complaining about the camera regularly swapping between night and day mode, which mine is doing as well based on my neighbors exterior lighting.
I've tried a factory reset. I've tried upgrading my doorbell transformer to a larger one (16V 30VA). I'm running out of ideas short of leaving my porch light on all night. Anything else I should try before I return it? There's not much in the way of configuration options in the app, so I can't think of anything else I could try? Maybe I have a bad unit?

@Jurykov Hello and Welcome to the Forum
I am going to guess that from the sounds of it that you might need even a larger Transformer. Seeing you are saying that things are working up to the time that the Night falls and light is out.. This ads extra power needs... Don't let a new Power Transformer fool you it maybe defective. Or it could be that it just isn't large enough.. I was using a 100va 24Vac Transformer when I started but I didn't want to keep it connected to my CCTV Power supply so I have it now connected to a 16vac 40va and that is about 2.5amps. Yours at 30va is little over 1.8amps and most of Amcrest Cameras that I own require a 2amp min even the 5vdc power supplies for the 841 and such are even 2amp.. It might be that the poor doorbell wants the extra amps. Could be that your Power supply wires are to long of a run or to small of wire this also could effect things like you described.

Re: Amcrest Doorbell
hi @Jurykov and welcome to the forum. do you have an amcrest nvr? the doorbell should be added as a private device as opposed a general device via rtsp. consider re-adding your ad110 doorbell as a private device instead of via rtsp. for illustration, i have added a camera via rtsp on channel 3 and it shows up as a general device. channel 1 is the ad110 doorbell added as a private device and it stays connected to the amcrest nvr even with the night infrared night/day flipping.
