Adding a motion activation/ night vision camera to a Qcam?

Hello,

I'd like to know if I can add an outdoor/motion activation/night vision camera to a Qcam 2-Megapixel (1920 x 1080) 8Ch Network POE Video Security System?

If so, does Amcrest make a camera that will work and what is the model number?

Hello,

Are you looking for an Indoor IP camera or Outdoor? The outdoor cameras we have are stationary ones and the indoor ones are pan/tilt capable. The below models should work with the Qcam NVR. They are not POE models though.

I guess I'm confused because one of the techs from Amcrest told me in an e-mail that the cameras that come with the system I ordered have motion detection capability. I quote "Yes, the Qcam cameras come with motion detection. You will be able to adjust the sensitivity of the motion as well."

If that's not the case I guess I'll be sending that system back and buying one that has motion detection capabilities.

The Qcam cameras do support motion detection. Sorry about the confusion. The cameras I mentioned also do work with it.
