AD110 doorbell stiil constantly disconnects and reconnects...ridiculous

@GaryOkie thanks - I only realized this when setting up a smart lightbulb a while back when I was poking around with my router settings. Unfortunately a lot of people don’t understand this, and product support usually bypasses any network hardware settings as there are too many to support. Hopefully IoT continues to simply this stuff so we don’t have to be that much smarter than our smart stuff.

Been dealing with constant dropouts from the AD110 at my back door for almost a year now. My email inbox is constantly filling up with notifications from my Synology box, and the phone notifications (about the constant disconnects/reconnects) from my NAS are endless.

I finally replaced it with an AD410 yesterday (I already had another 410, which has been working flawlessly on my 5G-network at my front door for over a year now).

The new AD410 at my back door is working perfectly on 5Ghz so far. My only guess is that the 2Ghz radio on the AD110 is flawed and random lemons go out the door. But who knows.

I'm just happy the AD410 has solved my connectivity problems. Just thought I'd share this in hopes of helping others.

I wish I had found this forum before buying this doorbell. Seems as if it's never been been solved. I'm using this with a T-Mobile router. I put in a help ticket only to have it a reply to put in another one.

I've had the same issue. Mine drops and auto connects every few minutes.
I have tried 2.4 ghz and 5ghz wifi.

The doorbell is just a few feet from the router, so range is not an issue. I also live in the country area, so not very many wifi interference here.

I have been looking for a solution, but I guess I am not the only one with this issue. I am on the latest firmware v1.000.00AC002.0.R.
I'm sure this can be fixed via firmware update, but this AD410 model hasn't had an update since 08-10-2023.

I wish Amcrest would respond and fix this as I see so many have this issue.

It would be nice if Amcrest would fix their flakey WiFi connection. I connect to a Synology NAS. The router is about 15 feet away on both units. Both units reconnect randomly several times a day. Its a good thing these are not my primary cameras or I would have torn them out long ago. I have tried many things like a better transformer, a fixed 2.4 connection, etc. Nothing seems to help.

It's not your hardware, it's the Doorbell the issue. I am replacing mine with the Reolink 5MP 5GHZ Doorbell. Has great reviews and also works with Blue Iris NVR.
