960H Video Loss

Post by mobility61 »

We had a power surge at our house, and now I just get "video loss" on all 4 cameras. I tried disconnecting each cable and waiting a minute before trying, and no go. I also rebooted the system, no go. The system was plugged into a power surge strip which also had other devices that experienced no issues after the power surge. Help, anyone?! Thanks

Hello,
Have you checked to see if the cameras are getting power? If you cover the camera sensor with your hands, the camera leds will come on if they are getting power. If not, you could try replacing the power adapter. Please try the below step if you think cameras are getting power.

Go to settngs > System > General . Change the Video standard to NTSC from PAL.

The LED lights do not come on, which means they are not getting power. Suggestions? Thanks

It looks like the cameras are not getting power. Make sure the cameras are powered on properly using the power adapter/splitter and that the cables are plugged in to the back of the camera (both power and BNC) properly.
