720p series - Does not detect Micro SD card?

I inserted a brand new Sony micro SD card, 64 gb, and it doesn't appear the camera recognizes it at all. The card packaging says it is a Class 10 card. I can't record, there's no motion detection and in the Device Manager, it says Free Capacity 0M, Total Capacity 0M. (It also says State is Sleep, which I have no idea what that means.) Do I need to format the card? My computer recognizes it just fine. I inserted a 16 gb Micro SD card from my phone and it seems to recognize it. The state changes to Activity, and the total capacity changes to 14.45. Is 64mb too large?

For the SD card needs to be formatted in FAT32 to format before it can work on the camera. The smaller cards such as 8 or 16 GB comes prefortmatted with FAT32 but the bigger ones are in Exfat format which is not recognized by the camera.

I think you need to format your unrecognized micro SD card.

But before that you must backup or recover your important photos and videos from your microSD card. You can use third-party Photo Recovery software to recover photos and videos from unrecognized micro SD card, download the tool from here: rescuedigitalmedia.com

After recovering files from the unrecognized micro SD card, format it on your Windows PC and then re-insert the card ion your 720P series camera.

The problem should be gone now.

I agree with you, but if the micro SD card would not detect on computer the third party software's not recover photos or any kind of help. I tried recuva photo recovery, Stellar Photo Recovery, Easeus Photo Recovery software all these best software if the micro SD card, SD card recognized on computer or system.
