After going back and forth with their sales staff, their service reps and EVEN having their tech team log into my account. Amcrest refused to acknowledge the unit with 1080p in the name is in fact NOT for 1080 cameras. After about the 4th or fifth person, I finally got an explanation, albeit sort of snarky with RED ARROWS AND BOXES marked all over it, showing the differences. It was a $100 unit guys, sure hope this was all worth it. An apology and a replacement would've saved all of this trouble.

Good afternoon, I apologize for the confusion but 1080N is not true 1080p. I will have the proper personnel take look at all listings to get this corrected but everything said by Jees is correct about the fact this standard is truly 960x1080 resolution. While true 1080p is 1920x1080. everywhere you go to research this clearly states this difference. Listings are handled by another department and we will have make any necessary corrections to prevent this kind of confusion in the future."
Thier product listing now shows
