Windows 10 and plugins

Post by usmc1811 »

Hello,

I upgraded my system from Windows 7 pro to windows 10 pro. I am back to the non-stop issue about plugins. I have tired Chrome, IE, and firefox. I am exhausted at dealing with this.

Time for my NVR system and 9 cameras to be patched out and something that works to be used in it's place.

The forum shows **years** of issues with plugins. Constant complaints from customers. And to be honest, no real answers.

Dear AMCREST- since you cannot fix your system to work reliably, it is time for me to move on. It is that simple. I am tired of battling to make you product work. I have tired the various locations on the web and the amcrest site. Failure to provide customer service is this on-going thing we all deal with now. I am willing to pay more to get something that works. Unfortunately, that will not be with you and my existing investment is lost.

I would say TBH I wouldn't be trying to use the Chrome interface I would be using the Amcrest Surveillance Pro if you have a 9 camera system and NVR. I am not 100% sure they have it for your NVR but does work with my Amcrest IP cameras and my CVI DVR. Not my 960h unit it has different program for that one...

I did just a Random NVR listing on the website and that one says it will work with the Surveillance Pro software so Yeah that would be my IDea. Also on that same page there was something about the Chrome Plugin there on the left side as well... I would say try going to the page for your NVR and on the left side they have the Manual and software kind of things. Maybe there will be some help in there or DL and check out the Sur Pro. I like it over the Web view...

We are currently pushing hard to update our systems with a new platform that will mostly not require the use of any plugins. at this time you can find many beta test firmware of this in the IP camera section.
