Can anyone tell me if the 1080P Pan/Tilt Wireless IP Camera can get too cold? I have mine in a mountain cabin and it stopped operating and won't reconnect.

Yes, the operating temperature absolutely needs to be above freezing, usually above 40°. If you have a fixed camera, you need an exterior enclosure like this one from Monoprice: http://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=6691
