PTZ Not Working from App on IP2M-844E
I purchased the IP2M-844E and the setup went fine. There seem to be no problems with network communications. Within the app, I'll go and tap the pan/zoom button to redirect the camera, but swiping, zooming, etc. don't seem to do anything. I've installed the app on a Samsung Note 5 and S6 with the same behavior.

Same here on iOS app and no one has any suggestions?

Can you log into cam from a PC? If so, look at 'System', 'Manage Users'' or the like, click on 'Modify' and insure that under 'Authority List' that 'PTZ' is checked for the user that you are logging in as on the app.

The IP2M-844E is not a PTZ camera. You can only adjust the view manually no remote PTZ available.
