Multiple emails/ Interval setting

Multiple emails/ Interval setting

Network > SMTP(Email) > Interval 3600.

I have changed the settings to an interval of 3600 seconds (1 hour) but still receive multiple emails every minute. Is there another setting that needs to be changed so I do not receive all these emails?
