How to loop on IP2M-841B?

Post by Dshow »

Hi,
I have an IP2M-841B with a 64GB SD card. After I format the card, I can get 3-4 days of video on the card. During that time, I can access all the files on the card from the prior days since recording began. Once the card fills up, (under Storage, Destination, SD Card), I can see the card is full, but it no longer shows any files from prior days... I have set the camera to Storage, Record Control, Disk Full = Overwrite, but it still fills up an stops.

I would like to get it so I can always access the last 3-4 days... What am I doing wrong?

Thank you!

Hello Dshow,

Please try the below set up from the web interface of the camera from a PC.

Set up > System > Auto maintain > Auto delete old files and set the number of days to 3 and save it. Please check if this works.

Thank you... So the goal would be to delete the files before the card fills up? (I was looking at the card on my PC and it's taking pictures every second as well. I don't need these so I can get much more video onto the card...)

You need to login to the camera web interface from a computer and go to set up > Storage > Schedule. Here make sure that you have the general recording enabled for the whole week.
