Blue Iris and Amcrest Pro HD configuration

Post by wingerr »

I've been using several Foscam IP cameras with Blue Iris and trying out the Amcrest Pro HD; the quality looks excellent based on the web access video.

"Inspect ONVIF result" shows the following and sets it to the RTSP H.264/MJPG/MPEG4 selection:

Opening connection...
HTTP request...
OK
ONVIF GetCapabilities...
ONVIF detected!
requesting device information
has Media services: /onvif/media_service
has RTP/RTSP, requesting profiles
has PTZ services
Not ONVIF, checking for common cameras
Foscam FI86xx/98xx compatible?
Foscam FI89xx compatible?
Foscam FI9821 V2 compatible?
Foscam FI9821 media port compatible?
RTSP port open?
RTSP port detected!
Done

Set up the video path by entering
/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0

Set the port for HTTP and 554 for the RSTP port, and enter the username and password for the camera, and that should do it.

The only issue with Blue Iris and this camera is that it doesn't support the PTZ feature, otherwise it works okay-
