This is a Power Over Ethernet (POE+ 802.3at) camera and requires a separate POE+ Injector or POE+ Switch to operate. A power supply and a POE+ injector are NOT included, and are sold separately.
Will my Amcrest NV4108E-HS 4K still need to have a separate power supply?

Edited Post
So after Looking over and maybe answering wrong I editing my post
So the camera says it needs poe+ and the NVR says it offers what the Camera needs I believe...
8 ports (IEEE802.3at/af) (4Mbps is recommended per channel)
Camera Required Specs Power Supply DC 12V/3A, PoE+(802.3at)
So if i am reading right. The NVR can power it
That good to know going to order one and see how it works.. Will keep you all posted.. Just debating if its going to look to big on the front of my garage...
Well I think it will look good... However I own some larger ones so maybe it don't bother as much... However it might be a good way to make a would be move on to another house as well... When I hear people are looking for Small Cameras to keep hidden it kind of Creeps me out... I want mine to be seen from the outside not what I can see outside... That way they can't tell if there is blind spots. however my camera system is like a Sprinkler system areas of double coverage and some areas with even more...
I think the PTZ your looking at is around 6" round and 14" long.. If you live in a High snow area I would try and find somewhere with some cover so it don't melt and freeze...
wickedstangs,
If considering connection to a NVR port, I suggest you have a way to access the camera with the PC Amcrest Camera Web UI. There are many advanced PTZ, etc. functions and settings for that camera there that are not available otherwise. Also, with POE+ use CAT 5e/6 cable with solid bare copper wires to get the best results, especially with long cables.

Thanks for that advice... So the Amcrest Surveillance Pro won't have all the option for configuration?
In Surveillance Pro, if you can now access the Web UI of a camera connected to a NVR port by using the WEB button in Surveillance Pro Device Config, then you should be able to use Web UI for 1053 camera.
It should also be possible using PC IE with the NVR IP address. There should be an IE browser icon in the Remote Device section for a NVR port connected camera.
Congrats on your New Camera. It looks very good where you have it mounted. Important thing is that your happy with it and works for your use. I would maybe post some Night Pictures as well...
Then once you get things setup I would maybe if there is enough light set it for Color at night as well. If there isn't enough light at your location then keep it in normal night mode.
