Setting a motion alarm on a PTZ camera
Re: Setting a motion alarm on a PTZ camera
What is the model name of the Amcrest camera you are using? Are you using an external motion detector connected to the camera alarm input? Please describe in detail what you want to do.
Re: Setting a motion alarm on a PTZ camera
It depends on the PTZ model you are using and how you aim to setup and in what environment

I also have an IP2M-858 and it does have a lot of function.
My limited experience regarding Autohome in Time Task:
I think the only place it makes sense or works is when used in the Time Task Action-Preset where a preset is selected.
Example:
Time Task Tour set for 2-3 pm
Time Task Preset set at 5 sec. for 3:01-3:02 pm
This should do an "autohome" after the 1 hour Tour period.
Notes:
Two Time Tasks cannot be scheduled in the same time period.
A PTZ action is any manual camera movement, or Tours, etc.
Time Task Preset will take place after completion of a PTZ action.
Idle Motion will do a similar thing, but runs all the time.
Regarding motion detect events happening on all presets in a Time Task tour:
If you not watching the tour, you could put the six presets you want motion detected in a different tour and use it.
Please post any comments.
