Ancrest Smart Home App - Screen timeout does not work

see a device that we do not currently have and think we should research in to let us know here. The same goes for features on devices If there is a feature we don't have that you would like please request it here and it will be passed along to the R&D team.

Ancrest Smart Home App - Screen timeout does not work

I have the AD110 video doorbell and use the Amcrest Smart Home app on my Galaxy Tab. Everything works fine, except that the auto screen timeout does not work anymore if the app runs in foreground and shows the video.

This means, motion is detected, the tablet turns on and shows the video (which is great), but the screen does not turn off again, so that the battery is drained very quickly.

What can I do to enable screen timeout for the Ancrest app?
