Push Notification Intended Behavior?

Post by scubaaddict »

Hi - I have installed AVP2 on my Galaxy flip 6 (android) and I am trying to figure out the push notifications for motion detection. Right now, I am being notified correctly of motion from the proper camera. The problem comes when I click on the notification. I click on a notification from say 'camera 7', and I am taken to the video of the very first notification I was ever sent (from 'camera 2'). I have deleted this clip many times. Still, I get notifications from several cameras properly, but if I click on the notification I am taken to the camera 2 clip that was deleted long ago.

In my head it would make the most sense to go to the 'live feed' of the camera that sent the notification. At least from there I have a chance to see what is happening live. Is it possible to get this behavior? If I was able to be taken to the correct camera's 'recorded' clip, that would be o.k., but still that takes 10 seconds to load, +10 seconds to encode, before playing, and by then it may be over. Going to the live view would be ideal, then I could click to the recorded clip if needed.

Side note: My wife installed AVP2 on her Google Pixel 9 and the first notification she got was for camera 1. Now every notification she gets takes her to that video from camera 1 (even though she has also deleted that clip).

I have read through a few similar issues, and I can't tell if people got their push notification issue fixed, or if maybe my desired behavior is not possible...?

Any replies are much appreciated!
