Motion detection not working in ASP software

I'm not sure what i am missing here but i simply cannot get the motion detection to work in amcrest surveillance pro. Is there any plan to update this dated software? I sent a test email SMTP server is working perfectly. But when i enable motion detect in "events" it really doesn't do anything at all. No email, no alarm.. Any ideas? I have the ASP software hosted on a windows 10 PC with IP5M-B1276EW-AI as my cams. I don't see any image in the link video area only the name of the camera. Any help would be great. Thank you
