How to export video file from the app
Re: How to export video file from the app
I've never used this method before but I just tried it and it worked for me half a dozen times although on one occasion I did get a failed result about 80% of the way through the process. I can see from your screenshot that you got "failed" at 0%. Did this happen as soon as you clicked on the "save" icon after selecting the clip?
I concluded from my single failure that it was just a glitch in my network. Does it happen every time for you?
I was saving from my camera to a folder on one of the internal drives of my computer having selected th option to save to .mp4. Is that what you were doing?

Re: How to export video file from the app
What app are you using?
I have only had this issue when I had a Failed Network cable.. Not that you want to do this but you could try to make your record time shorter seeing it looks like you are DL the same size 13mb file I am guessing it is Record time.. maybe change your record time to 5 min and then you have less to DL.
I have my WiFi camera at 5 min packages just to be safe... Never know when Wifi will dip...

Re: How to export video file from the app
On the WebUI log on to your camera. Then click the Setup on the right side, then click on Storage icon on left, Then Record Duration I am going to guess it might still be set at 8min. Maybe try 5...
Another thing to do is when you are In Playback mode. Try closing the live view window so only playback is online when your using your ASP AKA Amcrest Surveillance Pro...
Also are you using PC-NVR or just trying to get that feed off the Camera? If your Not using PC-NVR on your ASP then I would just connect to your Camera over the WebUi is much more Stable then ASP IMHO...

Re: How to export video file from the app
Oh yeah one more thing I was just thinking about...
IN ASP I have found that I have issues sometimes unless I DL in Normal Format. Then when I view it in the view app I can save clips in AVI or MP4...

Re: How to export video file from the app
you right it was on 8 min so now i change it to 5
now im using the WebUI (chrome extension) and was able to download mp4 files but cant play them (the size of the file was something like 164 bytes). maybe i need to wait for a new record after changing from 8 to 5.
beside that there is any setting that need to be change?
i've also try in ASP to close the view live tab and use only the playback tab but still it didnt work.now im using the WebUI (chrome extension) and was able to download mp4 files but cant play them (the size of the file was something like 164 bytes). maybe i need to wait for a new record after changing from 8 to 5.

Hi edenbensal, can you let us know the model of the camera and also the encode mode as well? Is the mode set to H.264H or H.265?
