Bad Software Support...

Posting yet again about how poorly Amcrest supports their software.

Amcrest Surveillance Pro (version 1 or 2) are rarely updated. There isn't a decent version of software specifically for iPads. The Mac and Windows version are very old, and haven't been updated for ages.

Why is it so difficult for Amcrest to have a group of developers that can keep up with the latest versions of Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, and iPadOS? This isn't rocket science!

All of the software on the Apple App Store is from ages ago. Some of it sort of works sometimes, but the last updated dates are months and years old.

AMCREST, YOU MAKE DECENT CAMERAS BUT YOUR SOFTWARE IS HOW END USERS ACCESS THEM AND YOU'RE FAILING TO PROVIDE UPDATES!!!

PLEASE, PLEASE, either remove all the old versions of the various applications you have out there (Amcrest View Pro, Amcrest View Pro 2, Amcrest Smart Home, Amcrest View Pro for iPad, Amcrest View Lite for iPad) which are old, out of date, and confusing for your customers, and publish current versions that are compatible with current versions of the operating systems you intend to support.

Sometimes you tell us to get an App from the App Store, and sometimes you tell us to download the latest Beta version from your web site.

Your Web site Apps and Downloads pages have information about Apps that are years out of date. Seriously, you'd sell more stuff if you paid attenton to how your software works, and how you update and support it. ARGH!

And updating posts on this forum is also a nightmare. I log in, try to post, get told to log in, get bad form submitted, and so it goes...over and over.

I've "reset password" again and again. Seriously, do you guy even use this system?
