Add devices "auto search" doesn't work for me, after changing the IP range to that used by my LAN, search came back blank. Adding cameras manually works fine.

Auto search for devices does not work, manual add of cameras works.

Can't get any of my cameras to record using PC-NVR. PC-NVR is configured and logged on. Five cameras were added. They are all set to record all the time. After completing the setup I waited 10 minutes and started playback, selected all of the cameras setup to record but nothing was found.

Auto Search worked for me, but I didn't change the Device Segment.
Amcrest P2P worked for me when adding a camera manually.
PC-NVR worked for me with three cameras recording continuously, and Playback worked.

I just restarted NVR and ASP and the recording for all cameras started working. I didn't change anything, just restarted NVR and ASP.

While I was trying to change the play back speed for one of the cameras ASP stopped completely. I had live view and playback running at the time the app disappeared. I had just one camera doing playback and 6 cameras in live view.

Trying to set motion detect areas in ASP doesn't work for me.

If I select one device, then I can make changes and save them. OK so far, but now if I select another device and go into the motion detect settings, the selected area is still displayed for the previous device. Change the settings for the second device and save, go back to the first device and now the settings for that have changed to what I just set for the second device.

If I set motion detection up in the WebGUI for each device and then check them out in ASP, the correct settings are shown for each device.

Playback, search does not work for me when "picture" is selected. It returns an error "Failed to download filename.jpg" so it is aware that snapshots exist.

Same thing happens no matter whether I select the actual device or the same device within PC-NVR.

Hope I'm not just overlooking it, but the ability to zoom in on the timeline in playback seems to be missing. I'm sure you used to be able to select several different zoom levels from 24hrs right down to 30 mins. Made controlling the play position much easier.

Longedge,
I also see the problem with motion detect areas, and with Playback pictures. But from my experience with other SmartPSS versions, recording snapshots does not appear to be a feature of PC-NVR.

In ASP 2, use mouse wheel to zoom time line, and click hold to move zoomed time line.

That's it, another one solved :) Thanks Jack.

Edit - mouse wheel zoom works OK but then while I was experimenting with it ASP crashed/closed down. When I restarted it all my cameras showed offline and I had to go into "Devices" and force a manual login for each one including PC-NVR. First time it's ever crashed on me.
