OEM or White Label AD110

Post by KoreArch »

Hello,

We have a customer that we are working with to build out a large US project involving thousands of homes and apartments. We are interested in securing a source for a doorbell like the AD110 that would ONLY connect to our cloud. I saw that the doorbell does support the ONVIF protocol, however it seems there are other protocols that are used for other features.

We are willing to work with you under NDA, but is there a way to secure the full documentation for the product so that we can use the AD110 in a way that it only connects to our secure cloud platform, and does not require any other outside connections? This is all due to security requirements of the project.

We would all like to know how to avoid the Amcrest cloud.

Please let us know how it works out for you.

My AD410 connects to my Synology Surveillance Station Software just fine and records motion and 24/7 video on the NAS. You might be able to setup router rules to block the cameras from external access to the cloud. It's possible.

How are notifications working out for you?

And it's highly doubtful Amcrest pays much attention to spammers soliciting proprietary product R&D from their public forum.

They barely even listen to their existing customers.
