I ask because I'm running 230810 but it frequently drops its wifi connection (though it is very close to a Unifi AC Pro hotspot and reports that it gets good signal). I'm pulling an RTSP stream from it using Frigate in HomeAssistant.
Thanks in advance.

Seems like mine has also been getting WiFi issues recently. Struggles to play recorded events (unless on the same WiFi network as the camera) and regular errors in Frigate (also running through HomeAssistant for me).

A little disappointing not being able to reliably access recordings away from home.

Hi all,

Is there anyone who has already tried the new firmware?

V1.000.00AC002.0.R, 08-10-2023

Thanks

My AD410 shipped with 20210220 and generally everything worked fine. <<This is the version to stay on!

Against my better judgement I upgraded to 20230810 and my DVR no longer could get a ONVIF stream to work, just gave an error about incorrect user/password. Downgraded to 20221201 and had the same issue. Thankfully someone on reddit posted a link to 20210220 and after downgraded again ONVIF works.

I've bought quite a few amcrest cameras over the years, and the newer the hardware or firmware, the worse they get. At this point I'm convinced they are intentionally blocking the ability to view/integrate these into 3rd party products such as my Annke DVR. I doubt I'll purchase another Amcrest device going forward because of these anti-consumer practices.

Can you please share a link or firmware file itself? Thank you in advance!

Given Amcrest's lack of understanding of the cause of the AD410 variable event notification delay, one must wonder if this new firmware will make the issue better, or worse.

Is this new firmware supposed to improve mesh network operation?
