Really as I said at times it might take a Charge or 2 for things to work within a Good Spec.. It might be that after your last charge it was able to pack a good space.. Also unless your checking 3 or 4 times a day it might be that without opening the camera to check all the time it will live a long while with little traffic... I am now tonight down to 74% on mine However as I said I have a lot of Traffic.. I mean I wish to be honest that there was some way to change the distance that my camera was picking up motion oh well It is what it is...

I mounted the camera on 4/5/21. It has been running for a full week now though not much motion at this location. The battery level remains at 100% according to my app. Hope the app is reporting accurate information. Not sure why when I had the camera sitting at home and playing around with it, it was dropping by 1% per day. I'll let it run
for another full week and check the battery again. If it drops by 1-2% (or remains at 100), I will keep it.

Something just came to mind. When motion is detected, maybe most of the work is being done by the HUB (receiving the digital stream and doing the writing to the USB drive)?? Is that a reason for the camera using little power and it appears to be using no power since it's still at 100% after a week?

Yes that was what I was saying in my Second post of the thread.. The camera uses very little seeing it is in a PIR mode until there is motion then it wakes the camera, it takes the Data that is digital sends to hub that does most of the work seeing that is where the Drive is. Then with playback that again don't access the camera so it stays in PIR mode and the HUB sends the data to the app for watching.. It is really a smart system and as I said as well. I didn't have much care for the system in Theory until after buying it and since have found some respect for it. Does it fit my Security Needs no not really.. However at some point after I am done touching it and learning it and testing it I will install it at my cabin where it don't get much Motion and I visit only every so often.. I will leave the Cord for my Neighbor and if it starts to die before my next time to the cabin I will just ask him to plug it in.. To be fair before your post it has always just been plugged in maybe I will just keep it that way there seeing there is a plug less then 2 feet from install point..

Waking it multi time a day can put a Stress on the life.. However with no or little active use in the install area and if the Temps are not Extreme high and Extreme lows like it was up to last month even had some snow early this month for me anyway battery life should like a better constant temp..

Now on the other side of life of the camera and again not sure about quality of my Battery I will admit my camera is down to 61% however I get anywhere from 30 to 100 alerts from the camera a day.. I want to take it down to about 20% before I charge it and see how it works at that charge and will also test the batter voltage to see what and why before Adding the charger to it.. My house like my cabin has a outlet less then 2 feet away so in a since I can just plug it and leave it...

My camera has been running for a full two week now outdoor. The battery level is at 91%. It dropped by
6% in the past few days. There had been very sunny days here and what I have noticed is this. The camera
gets lots of sun typically during early mornings. I was getting about 25 motion alerts between 8-9AM and I think
it was due to reflection on the lens from the bright sunlight. This obviously drained the battery a bit. But, in
two weeks overall, 9% used it's actually not bad. So I will keep the camera.

I saw a setting on my app that says "Schedule". It doesn't really tell me what it is and I couldn't find out
more info on the web either. Does anyone know what this is or how it's being used? It has the start time
and end time. Looks like you can create only one schedule. If you create a schedule between 8am - 10am,
does it mean the camera will function only during those times? In my case, how would I set the camera
not to detect motions and don't send alerts between 8-9am? Is this possible?

Well the Schedule is for an ability to setup times you would like to be notified and when you don't.. SO say that you don't want to be woke up on weekends because you work night shift so you can turn them off on them days.. Or say you don't want it bothering you at night again you can have it setup to send notices from 8am to 11pm daily and the other events will just be sent but not alert you...

So if I create a schedule say 8AM - 9AM, does this mean my camera will operate only during this window meaning
detect motions and send out alerts or does it mean my camera will operate every hour except this window? , Revo2Maxx, I read your response but still unclear.

The time you set is the time you will get.. So it comes stock as 00:00 to 23:59 so if left that way for 1 min it wouldn't send you a notice lol.. just kidding but that is how it looks.. Anyway so if you wanted it to work as I said from 8am to 11pm then anything out side that number wouldn't send an alert. It will pool up in your notices when you look but won't send a notice in push.. (meaning you can see them... Now to be honest I have not setup this on this camera this is how it is on my other Smart home devices that I do use.. This one don't see much Night time Traffic and in location it is in I want the alerts if it goes off so never used it.. For me if I was working with the Device as the Builder and wanted to extend my battery life even more seeing this info is setup in the Camera and not the Hub it might be that in the hours picked it don't send and save anything and that could be cool in life of battery but not so cool in Security and was one of the reasons I was not really looking to own one at the first place because I am not into Gimmicks I like real Security.. However after buying it and using it I like it for the use I have for it and feel that I could offer some insight for some that could use the system and not looking to buy a NVR or DVR for recording a couple or few cameras.. In this case 6. So I bought it because I do have people that I talk to about CCTV in my Personal life and did mention to a few about the device but not having first hand account made me not to sure about use.. So when I got it as I said I was using as Plug in and go not using battery it wasn't until after you asked that mine went to battery.. I do get loads of traffic and at 51% I am wondering if I changed it again now what my next battery life would be.. Again I want to see how things act in a lower % before I charge next..

Oh, I see what you're saying. If I set my schedule for 8AM - 9AM, I will only get alerts during this window but the camera is actually working 24x7. From 9:01AM (today) to 7:59AM (next day), I just won't hear the alerts because
they are not being pushed but they will show up on my app if motion were triggered. Is this right?
