AD410 works fine just except when accepting call

This is a battery issue. The camera relies on the battery when the button is pressed because the power from the doorbell chime is used to ring the charm. The batteries in the AD410 last 1-2 years and then the camera will shut down and reboot every time the doorbell button is pressed.

The battery dies after a few years.

This post shows how to replace the battery if you want to go down that route. Or, I guess you can just replace the whole thing every 2 or 3 years.
