AD410 washed out video
AD410 washed out video
I replaced a Nest doorbell with the AD410 for better Blue Iris compatibility. My house is facing north-northwest and the front door is under an walkway/front porch so the area in front of the door is shaded then it's normal daylight. The image I'm getting from the camera is very washed out. The Nest picture automatically corrected itself and everything was visible. Any ideas how to correct this? I've turned on WDR and it didn't seem to make much difference. Any other ideas? I REALLY REALLY don't want to have to go back to the Nest....

Re: AD410 washed out video
Hello, welcome to the forum.
If as you say you have enabled WDR then the lighting conditions look to be more than the device can cope with at that time of day and facing that direction. I'd be inclined to try moving the view (by wedging downwards and either right or left) to move the bright area out of the centre of the frame.
Obviously it's more important for you to see who is in front of the door than further away.
