AD410 USB API

Is there an API that can be used with the AD410 when Connected to a local PC.

I would like access to the following via an API:
1) Request a Picture or Video Stream
2) Download a Picture of Video (from last ring or detection)
3) Notification of a Ring Button
4) Notiification of detection.

as far as I know, the USB connection is only an option for power and does not provide a data path. Does your PC recognize it when the doorbell is attached? If no, then dead end.

Most of the other things you want do do are available with the Amcrest API with the doorbell connected via WiFi.

You are right ...
lsusb on Unix does not see any new attached devices when plugged in.
